Brad Jones is the Superintendent of FCS and, therefore, manages all aspects of our school. Being led by God into the field of education in 1986, he has faithfully served FCS for almost forty years.
If you are considering Christian education for your children, I invite you to come visit our campus and see for yourself what God is doing at Fayetteville Christian School.
Sincerely,
Brad Jones, M.Ed.
Superintendent of Fayetteville Christian School
I was born in Kirkland, Washington, a suburb of Seattle, in an idyllic, stable, family environment. I had the privilege to attend one of the most prestigious secondary schools in the Northwest. From the outside I had the perfect life, but I was empty – my life had no purpose. Nothing could fill the void that was in my heart. I knew I was not right with God, but I was ignorant of the truth of the gospel of grace.
Eager to reinvent myself, I left Seattle to attend the University of Arkansas in 1978. During my freshman year, I came to truly understand and accept the gospel of Jesus Christ. God led me to the field of education, where I earned two bachelor’s degrees: one in History and one in Social Studies Education. I went on to earn a master’s degree in Educational Administration.
Having volunteered at Fayetteville Christian School during my college years, it became my prayer and desire to teach at Fayetteville Christian School. The Lord answered my prayer in 1986, when I was called to the ministry at Mission Boulevard Baptist Church and was subsequently ordained for the work of the ministry at Fayetteville Christian School.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege to be a bus driver, janitor, coach, athletic director, assistant food service coordinator, maintenance man, and teacher of many different classes – all while being the superintendent of the school. I’m proof of the old adage “If you love what you do for a living, you will never work a day in your life.” I love being a part of the Fayetteville Christian School.
